It's a day like any other for Dan, a young shepherd. With a flute in his hand and a lamb on his shoulder, Dan takes his flock out to pasture. But almost as soon as he reaches the field, things go wrong. He finds himself fighting a fierce battle against the ruthless master of shepherds and his underlings. And in the midst of it all, he discovers a treasure and its owner - a sad, lonely boy. They become fast friends, fighting side by side against the shepherds. The two are forced to escape for their lives from the approaching moslem hordes. Suddenly they hear that their friend Amram is up for sale in the slave market, and they rush to redeem him. But their efforts to save him are thwarted by their longtime foe and things aren't looking too good....A sequence of miraculous events turns the bleak situation into a wondrous resolution.
