Rav Greenwald learned in yeshivos in Hungary, including the Pressburg yeshiva under the Da’as Sofer. He received semicha from the Arugas Habosem. He was a Rav in Columbus, Ohio for 32 years, where he died in 1955. Rav Greenwald was a talmid chacham of stature and recognized as a master posek.
