Goshen doesn't like to live in a palace, not one bit. He waits for the day when he can run far, far away.
But one day, everything changes. Things started becoming more interesting. The prince of the nearby kingdom comes to recuperate in the palace.
"You won't be allowed to get anywhere near him," the court jester warned him, "so don't een dream of it." But dream he did and sometimes wishes come true. In some marvelous way, he becomes the prince's close friend and confidante. Astoundingly, he uncovers an evil scheme. Furtively, he makes his way to the king through a secret passage, endangering his life.
The Captive Prince is a moving allegory. It is the story of many thousands of princes in the world who didn't realize that someone is trying to take away their rightful crown.
The suspense, the tempest, the fantasy, and the daring journey are the story of their life. If only they learn to recognize it early on.
